Purple, green, and gold court gown — pictorial bead armor, plume crown, cathedral train. The ball piece. $32,800.
A Carnival ball commission — original Ooh La La. Purple, green, and gold, built as the highest court gown in the house. This is not a krewe’s copyrighted court clothes and it does not carry a krewe name. Sewn here to the client's measurements. Custom color is included.
How we make it
Build pictorial bead plates on canvas like a year of masking, then mount them as a court gown in purple, green, and gold. Gold bullion frames every plate. Chain is built into the bodice. Crown is a wired ostrich form in the three colors, denser than a masking crown. Train is plates and plume, weighted so it walks a ballroom and a pageant stage. This is the highest Carnival gown in the house — not a pretty princess dress.
